Nice to finish the Toppserien season off with three points, and continue to keep our place in the top division for next season. A fantastic achievement by all associated with @Roadynamite ⚽️👍💪🏻

This! But also,. How many times do you coach 1v1/2v2 compared to 1v2/2v3? Defending outnumbered using all of the technical points below? Especially for teams that want to press man-for-man, work on deceleration, judging distances and turning with speed.
One reason FBs wall passes work so well today?. We stopped coaching how to defend them. Without individual defensive work, players often lack: proper deceleration, body orientation to turn, body contact, awareness of the opponent’s dominant foot.

A mix👇. Established box defending - zonal. More time to organise body shape and set position to cover a greater area of space in the ‘V’. In transitional moments - Man marking. More chaos, always prioritise taking out the man - especially if it’s matched up situations I.e front.
The difference in penalty area defending: individual marking vs zonal defending. Which approach do you prefer? 🤔
