So the situation here is that They're both at a standoff waiting on who opens fire first. Fair game Rias won't back down at all.
neither is being straight to the point, instead of making it look like a puzzle so it helps resolve the issue. if the problem was him knowing she is a demon, it's because he himself is kinda like a demon himself. or rather, have the essence of one.

And neither did he. Holding Rias within his arms as their lips press against each other. He smiled into the kiss as a hand rested within her beautiful crimson locks he loved so much. He’ll always cherish this moment and knew all too well that Rias would too.
