Proud to be part of this work on the quantum annealing performance within building-blocks of a Rydberg network designed for solving maximum independent set problems. This hints at a more indepth survey into how the full network provides quantum speedup to the algorithm.
A performance analysis of quantum optimization algorithms applied to combinatorial problems encoded in Rydberg atom arrays uncovers quantum-induced bottlenecks and proposes quantum-aware modifications to the encoding strategies. @iqoqi

It is rediculous ETHz, a top university in continental Europe, essentially bans Chinese nationals from new enrollment to master programs and employment as PhD and staff. Even more sarcastically, in the name of "die akademische Freiheit aufrechterhalten".

Happy to announce the new PRL paper from us! Combining Floquet and Keldysh, we provide a new insight into general driven-dissipative quantum systems from field theory's perspective, and apply it on BCS superconductors. https://t.co/nsCCtGXAp6

Thanks to the newly implemented MPI parallelization, MCTDH-X @ultracold_org is now able to simulate the ground state for 21 fermions in a harmonic trap! See the figure for the densities in real and momentum spaces. Can you make sense of them?

Happy to announce our new preprint: https://t.co/c8J6hGbcdz, where we look at driven-dissipative effects in the platform of superconductors! Going beyond Lindbladian, we propose to manipulate the Floquet excitation structure seen by the bath, which leads to "cooling by drive".

To lazy to log into a cluster? MCTDH-X @ultracold_org now runs on Mac (Apple Silicon & Intel). Why not have a try?

Dissipation can qualitatively change the dynamics of a cavity-atom system, e.g., introducing a large family of "nearly dark" states https://t.co/uGC3Gstyyz or a non-Hermitian flow on a synthetic momentum lattice https://t.co/yxNRiEnUvL. Check them out!

As a follow-up work of https://t.co/85o7ebOdcj, we are now able to quantitatively compare the Mott transition with experimental results using MCTDH-X @ultracold_org. Shown in the figures are the experimental and simulated momentum and real space densities. Have a read!

With the numerical tool MCTDH-X @ultracold_org, we simulate the many-body state of blue-detuned cavity-BEC systems. Dimerization of optical lattice and dynamical instabilities are observed/confirmed. A simple toy model explains all these phenomena and predicts a Hopf bifurcation.
