The Trump Administration's reckless trade policies have harmed Virginia's economy for months. And today, Trump's 35% tariff on imports from Canada — Virginia's largest trading partner — is effectively another tax hike on Virginia families and businesses. These tariffs are doing

This morning, Donald Trump's 25% tariff went into effect on goods from Canada and Mexico — two of New Jersey’s largest trading partners. In other words, Trump’s tariffs will place a massive sales tax on New Jersey families and businesses. Despite promising to lower costs, the

Great piece by @fatherdesouza. "Tariffs are not a popular policy and, while Americans may be open to being taxed when they buy Chinese goods, they remain bewildered that their president is waging a trade war on Canada. Reagan is posthumously popular, Canada is perennially

You need to update your talking points. Even Ottawa has admitted that too many bails are handed out with few conditions, and has brought legislation to fix it. Try standing up for victims and survivors of crimes, for once.

Ford's Minister on Bail Reform claims bail is handed out freely with few conditions. This is categorically false, as 98% of bail releases has 6 to 7 conditions attached. Instead of blaming Ottawa, Ford should just do his job and invest in bail compliance and supervision.

The Supreme Court will not be so polite in its judgement of the president’s unilateral tariffs. Article 1, Section 8 gives Congress the sole authority to “collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises.” Unfortunately for the Trump Administration, there’s no Canadian ad campaign
