I know she won’t be disappointed with me. I had a lot of mixed and complicated emotions around choosing to not fly home. I felt I let myself down but I didn’t. My fear of flying is tangled in childhood trauma so it’s not as easy as just battling a fear.

Update from plane tweet: ✈️ it was very hard but I did it ✈️ I did take my selfie for my therapist but I’m nervous to tell her I didn’t make the second flight ✈️ I’m glad I’ve learnt to prioritise myself and took the train home and was able to enjoy my holiday

Do I have any UK based education safeguarding experts / leads in my contacts who might be willing to provide comment for my book about Rishi Sunak’s proposed plans on stopping social transition which is being framed as a safeguarding issue. LGBTQ+ inclusive, of course.

What’s the one fact you get annoyed that is true. The one adults always say and you hate that is right - Mine is that having a clean room improves my mental health. I clean my room and I’m genuinely annoyed how much better I feel because everyone is so right 🤣🤣

Tomorrow I’m going to a Tik Tok official event to celebrate Disability Pride Month. Social media might not be for everyone but for me it’s given me a career in disability activism, content creating and allowed me to connect with others around the world. I love what I do 💗
