Best part of #RubyconfCo 👉 the people! - local speakers showed us foreigners the ropes - conversations weren't just about code, I showed videos of myself riding to people! - when I got bad news from back home EVERYONE asked how they could help ❤️❤️❤️

Life Learnings from #RubyconfCo 1) Colombia is spelled with an "o" ! 2) Medellin is pronounced as 'Me-de-jin' 3) Pitahaya is delicious! 😋 4) @Google translate is AMAZING 5) People seem to appreciate any effort to speak Spanish no matter how crappy it is 😅

Where should people start that want to contribute? @tenderlove - Rails issues are hard so start w/the dependency issues first. That'll help you better understand the Rails pieces and eventually be ready to contribute to Rails with a fix for a complicated issue. #RubyconfCo
