We’re so glad to have Phyllis Ferguson with @TNFarmBureau read & chat with our students about sourcing our favorite snacks for Agriculture Literacy Week! The Bureau donated a copy of “Let’s Pop, Pop, Popcorn” by Cynthia Schuberth to every elementary school in our district! 🍿🌽

Last night, I participated in the @readtosucceed annual celebrity spelling bee. Big congrats to Katie Turner, Youth Services Coordinator at Linebaugh for taking home the trophy! @rclstn 🎉 It was really cool to meet other literacy enthusiasts in our community.

What a treat! Today, I joined Smyrna High School students as they learned how to be true archivists of historical primary documents at the Tennessee State Library and Archives. The curator and cataloger in me was overjoyed. Kudos @SHSLibrary37167 for providing this opportunity!

Calling all poets AND @jeffzentner fans!! On Friday, Nov. 14th @ 6pm, Blackman High Library's poetry club will be teaming up with the Culinary and Visual Arts, along with Poetry in the Boro to put on a fundraiser for a good cause called "Soup and Sonnets." Everyone is welcome!
