Liam and Noel will step onto the Croke Park stage. A cure for the many homesick for the lost country of youth. A column on Oasis lifting the sometimes brutal siege of growing old.

Liverpool marked Diogo Jota's tragic passing with class and sensitivity. Now his bruised friends must go back to work. A piece on mortality invading sport's escapist playground. How it impacted GAA, cricket & football teams. And how Barry McGuigan coped with unimaginable trauma.

Delighted to see Ger Brennan appointed. An inner city Dub made good. Stunning work with Louth. A man of deepest integrity. Always true to himself. Unafraid of swimming against prevailing tides. A natural born leader.

A column that amounts to a coward's words on Gaza. Ireland was eviscerated, broken by a genocidal famine. We are living through the sequel. Another viciously perpetrated Great Hunger. Step away from politics. And economics. Humanity matters more. Words inspired by David Hickey.

Gavin White, towering Man of Match. Stunning. Backed Paudie (11/1) pre-match. Finest quarterback display in All-Ireland history. Joe O'Connor set the template. And still, David. Any half mortal scores 1-9/0-9 in semi and final, he's MotM in both. Footballer of Year. And all time.

Dad died 16 years ago today. He was, forever is, my hero. The world is glorious. Met a few close Kerry friends in The Palace Bar today before they took Via Appia to The Kingdom. Two of Dad's old pals were in raising a toast to him. How many tears can we cry. Isn't life beautiful?.

Watching David Clifford. Like sitting at Da Vinci's shoulder as he transformed a blank canvass into the Mona Lisa. Spine-tingling to observe a supreme artist at work.

Mick Galwey's company makes life worth living. Here, he talks about life. Death. Home. About Munster. Bomber. Páidí. But mostly about Kerry. And what it means to him. A class, fascinating guy.

If you want to understand how All-Irelands touch people at the heart. This is among the more beautiful pictures of the week. Liam Aherne, long-time father of The Palace Bar, the home of Tipp in Dublin, and Liam McCarthy. Look at his face. Full of childlike wonder and joy. Perfect
