I have a history of waking up in the middle of the night to frantically write down some genius idea, only to realize later it just says "llama yogurt" or something. But I recently woke to find a fully formed pitch and title that's maybe one of my best? Stay tuned. 🪡💀.

My #WIPPit book is set in my home state of South Carolina!🌄. I wish I could say it's because of the beauty of the Blue Ridge, but the backdrop of the book has more to do with our laws banning books, requiring teachers to report trans kids, and enforcing abstinence-only sex ed.
