#100DayProject Day 29: Dire Swamp Diorama. The damp, muddy ground swallowed up the unfortunately red clad sojourner before his companion could arrive. The swamp is more alive and dangerous than they thought.

#100DayProject Day 28: The Swamp and Cast. The Scorpion plant decided to join the party. Adding in some more mud effects(to be painted when dry) to hide some gapping and the first bit of water effect goes down.

#100DayProject Day 27: Swamp and cast. And the scene takes shape. Got most of them pinned in now. Still waiting for the oil wash to dry on the last mini.

#100DayProject Day 26: The Swamp. Coming to you in technicolor. Looks like it's jus waiting for some lively plants and frogs.

#100DayProject Day 25: The Swamp and the Scorpion Plant. The land was dark, bleak, foreboding. The green grime did little to conceal the bright colors of the Scorpion(plant). Waiting for the filler on the terrain and the oil wash on the mini took a while.

#100DayProject Day 24: The Swamp. Do not attempt to adjust your screen. The swamp controls the horizontal, the vertical, and the saturation. Mostly primed swamp. Waiting for some effects to fully dry to finish. Plus waiting on some oil wash results.

#100DayProject Day 23: The Swamp. Doesn't look much different but everything is secured down now. I'll have to figure how I'm going to prime this one.

#100DayProject Day 22: The Swamp. Doing a little dry fitting of the remaining foliage and the characters. starting to look more alive.

#100DayProject Day 21: The Swamp. Did some sanding and added a few more branches and vines to the terrain. All the characters are working on a coat of varnish so I can try some oil washes.

#100DayProject Day 18: Serpent Plant. So begins the final figure in this diorama. Played around with mixing chalk into matte medium. Takes a few more layers than normal, but it was the vibrant purple I wanted. We'll see if the pink stays.

#100DayProject Day 17: Red shirt frog. And so ends (the paint job of) the frog who dared wear a red shirt and red pants on a mission. Take heed.

#100DayProject Day 16: Red shirt frog. 2 lessons from today's miniature. 1. Failed prints are just creative opportunities. 2. Just because you pair red pants with a red shirt, it doesn't negate the redshirt rule. (Someone should have really told him that before the mission)
