Alone time with God must be a priority in our Christian walk for it’s during these times that He teaches us most effectively. We can make time or He will make it for us. Either way He knows what’s necessary for us to learn. Go to God Don’t make him go get you.

Don’t let talent be your weakness. If talent is by far the main attribute we bring to the table, we’ll never reach our potential or accomplish anything meaningful. There’s nothing more common than unsuccessful people with talent.

A leader must help create an environment that not only inspires others to do their best but also drives themselves to do their best.

Witnessing is not a matter of eloquent speech or talent, it’s an overflow of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As Christians, we all have Jesus in us and our greatest witness is how we live out our personal relationship with Him.

Championship performance requires championship preparation. Earn the right to win.

A true leader interacts just as well with the custodian as he/she does with the chairman of the board. People don’t vary in their worth, just their roles.

Choice/Rejection is always a trade off….you can’t choose one thing without rejecting another. Therefore, who we are is a product of who we aren’t. What we choose not to do is just as important as what we choose to do.

At times, being obedient to God will clash with being kind hearted toward others. Our obedience may allow others to suffer in the short term for their poor decisions but, as painful as it can be, we must let the cost be paid. We obey, God works out the details.

Practice is part of every team’s process so it’s the quality of practice that separates Practice objectives that are manageable and measurable, lead to a focused, intentional, & competitive workout. Pretenders focus on completing practice.Champions focus on competing at practice.

Freedom of choice does not equate to freedom of consequences.

God never randomly instructs us to just give something up. He only tells us to give it up for the sake of gain. a closer, more meaningful relationship with Him.

High expectations can yield uncommon results but not without some disappointments along the way. The key is not allowing disappointment to evolve into discouragement. Disappointment happens.Discouragement is a choice.
