The Deputy Mayor attended the Swinton VE Day celebration today. The precinct was alive as the great weather brought the throng to relive life 80 years ago, to honour the past, and celebrate the Swinton Community spirit,.

There wasn't a cloud in the sky when my Deputy visited the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity Spring Fair in aid of their Dementia Appeal. She undertook an especially heartwarming tour of the children's ward to hand out Easter Eggs and bring some smiles and cheer.

that this wasn't a facility. It was an exceptional place built with compassion, dignity, & respect as its foundation. Staff were so knowledgeable, empathetic, professional, & just really kind, with attention to detail, which created a safe, warm, and person-centred environment

I visited the new Potters Green Care Home in Kilnhurst. This modern and welcoming building is aimed at providing care for those with complex medical needs arising from brain injuries, mental health conditions, and neuro-disabilities. It was clear from the moment I arrived .

I met these two wonderful people when they attended my Mayoral Ball. Proudly representing Henry Boot, I was drawn to their drive, enthusiasm, & warmth, so naturally, I invited Kate & Jack to my Parlour. Learning more about breathing new life into Rotherham, one brick at a time.
