🧵 There are so many people, businesses, community groups, organisations and elected representatives trying to improve our communities on a daily basis, whereas many of these national figures claiming to be patriotic have never done a single thing to make our communities better.

🧵 Not because it’s a statement for a political cause or some charlatan on Tik Tok told us to, but because it’s our flag, it’s our communities flag, it’s our countries flag, and nobody has ever told us to take it down in our community garden.

🧵 While people randomly spray paint over roundabouts & pelican crossings because *apparently* ‘we can’t fly flags anymore’ or ‘be proud of our country’. I’ve just checked my notes and errrr. oh yeah, we have been flying St George’s flag & Union Jack on our flag pole for years

Another new book library addition in the Community Garden, Tupton for our children 📚 . Please take a book, and ideally bring any children’s book you have to replace it for another child to enjoy 🥰

I’m absolutely here for @TomSwarbrick1 promoting the pure joy of a lads holiday. Every August Bank Holiday we go wild camping with the lads, get the fire going, music blaring out the speaker, cracking a can open at 8am in the morning - the ultimate de-stress weekend.

As the best placed candidate to beat Labour and the Tories in the upcoming Derbyshire County Council elections for the Clay Cross and Tupton division, I’m asking residents to lend me your support so we can have a strong independent voice at County Hall.

Out of this world to me that Cllr Lewis is spending his time dissecting whether there are aliens, and he should really be concentrating on dealing with funding issues, children services and making sure our roads are in good condition at county hall.

Is there a single person in Derbyshire who wants Barry Lewis to stay in charge of the @Derbyshirecc highways, children’s services and finances for a single second longer than necessary, never mind 2 years longer if the county council elections are delayed.
