Really happy to see two great men land in positions they want: John Sicilia is retiring as Chief from NRPD to take a job in the private sector and Bryan DeWick becomes Chief. Both are wonderful men who’d do anything for anyone. The kind of police we need.

Ross PD will be holding its first Citizens Police Academy starting on September 11th 2024. This will allow participants to gain access to our officers in a classroom setting, and hands on demonstrations that will show you what it’s like to be a police officer in Ross Township!

McKnight Rd closure this morning in BOTH directions between Siebert Rd & Patrick Pl. First closure at 10am SHARP for approx 5 mins Second closure some time before 11am for 5 mins. This is to allow Duquesne Light to run new electrical lines across McKnight Rd Please be patient

McKnight Road south is closed at the Babcock Blvd off ramp as a vehicle versus pedestrian accident is being investigated. All southbound traffic is being diverted onto Babcock Blvd. Access to McKnight Road South is also closed at Nelson Run Road. Please seek an alternative route.
