Which of these describes the way you feel about hearing Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso" on the radio now?.

You can sing "Stay" to the verses of "Overnight Sensation." Maybe that's what inspired Jackson Browne a few years later. #AT40.

I didn't have access to #AT40 in fall '74. I'm not positive I've ever heard Brownsville Station, "Kings of the Party" before. There are other songs in the top 20 this week that I knew, but never heard at the time, too.

I'm impressed that reading poetry to his dates worked so well for Neil Diamond. It probably helped that he *was* Neil Diamond. #AT40.

Longfellow Serenade is ponderous Neil Diamond with polka bass. That’s the only way I can describe it. #AT40.

Four hours ago, I wrote an article expressing surprise that nobody else was doing the Magic/Miami format of English-language oldies/Spanish-language jocks. Now it's in Orlando.

This is definitely a station that some of my Saturday #AT40 crowd would enjoy. A slightly different version of '60s and '70s than anybody else.

There aren't more podcasts making their way to broadcast radio in part because iHR's @JeffCuch, Audacy's @LeahReis_Dennis are "not looking to foist" their shows onto stations. #NABShowNY.

When Ted Nugent was just another hard rock artist in 1977. how did you feel about "Cat Scratch Fever." #AT40.

"Isn't She Lovely" was never a single, so Stevie Wonder's "Another Star" is the one we're hearing on #AT40.

"I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You" has a similar groove to Steely Dan's "The Fez," a year earlier. But "Black Cow" (a month or so later on Aja) sounds like Alan Parsons. #AT40.

Followed by a directly Robert Palmer related song in Moon Martin's "Rolene." (Author of "Bad Case of Loving You" now scoring a hit for himself with a similar rocker.) #AT40.

Just noticing how much Wings' "Arrow Through Me" sounds like Robert Palmer's "Every Kinda People" from about a year earlier (typical incubation time for being influenced by what's on the radio). #AT40.

"I Know a Heartache When I See One" was a better country-soft rock single than Linda Ronstadt made that year. Also, you can hear echoes of it in a recent Country #1. (Listen to the first two lines of the chorus.) #AT40

Okay, it's a technicality, but with True Oldies Channel on 92.3-HD3, "WINS" is playing "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" by the Animals for the first time since just before its format change in 1965. @ScottShannonDJ.

As far as "Graffiti/Grease-era" pastiche hits go, "Street Singin'" is far better than "'65 Love Affair," not the least of which because it sounds like it actually could be from that era. #AT40.
