I am publicly asking Islington Council to delete this tweet. Your comms team got too excited and publicly dismissed, in its entirety, any eviction or disposal of belongings post-eviction. As of Friday 14 November 2025, the council opened a formal investigation into the alleged
Our team work tirelessly to support homeless residents and would never simply evict a vulnerable person. We can’t share detail of individual cases, but we can confirm that no bailiff eviction happened and that we haven’t disposed of their belongings. 3/4
