Lots of celebrations on Jubilee! We had a fantastic ACE inspection where we shared what we’ve achieved since opening. Today we celebrated the official opening of the Robin Hood theatres and Jubilee unit. Fab to see the benefit the new units will have for our colorectal patients

Like many jobs traditionally done by women, nursing is underpaid and undervalued. It’s sometimes treated almost as an act of charity rather than the highly skilled profession it is. Nurses don’t have to be angels or heroes to deserve decent pay. It’s enough that they’re workers.
