My Family in Rhodesia circa 1941. No generational wealth here. Hardworking men and women. Notice only the girls wear shoes, the simple home built by hand on the farm carved from the empty bush. This generation learned from those before them to be diligent and work hard. Simple.

RSA has over 150 000 spaza shops with an estimated annual business turnover of 178 billion rands, which pays no tax and is mostly run by foreigners. The taxi industry is worth around 90 billion rands and pays little to no tax. Our tax revenues sit at around 1.7 trillion rands.…

Farming is not shiny. You can't drive a GTI, wear slim fit suits and Prada shoes. No gliding across the marble floors of the malls. It's tough and thankless, dusty and dirty. 24/7 hence khaki clothes. Cows, sheep, chicken n pigs don't chill on weekends. Respect for our farmers!

R 41,380,513,104,000.00 For those who blame apartheid for all our woes. This is how much is estimated to have been stolen by our democratically elected government in the first 27 years of freedom. May have made quite a dent in our problems had they used it wisely.

The arrogance of the ANC knows no bounds. Jessie Duarte's statement that RSA would collapse into civil war if the ANC departs is the definition of delusion. It would in fact lead to an outpouring of relief and joy, civil happiness, dancing, singing and unity. We despise the ANC!

After a rough week on Twitter where we've seen some off-kilter vibes, hit pieces, top crime fighters missing the beat, and important accounts slagging each other off. I decided to not weigh in on it all but rather show you this little chap. Our newest family member. A rescue. ❤️

I worked for Frelimo in Mozambique during the Civil War there. The Russians were giving the Mozambique government of Samora Machel huge V8 petrol 6x6 trucks from their Siberian military surplus, Mig fighter jets, and tanks and bombs with a million or two AK47s thrown into the…

Upon reflection, I have come to accept that indeed black people problems were caused by a white man. Yes, a German white man Karl Marx, the father of communism is the reason black people are poor today and speak rubbish. German Philosopher and Economist, Karl Marx (1818 - 1883…

64 years is a lifetime and some in Africa. Congo became independent 64 years ago. Double the size of SA and blessed with riches beyond measure it is the second poorest country on earth. Rwanda, its neighbour is 1000 x smaller yet the fastest growing economy on the continent.

Had the pleasure of 2 days chilling. I watched lots of cricket, SA vs. India. My keenest observation of that excellent win is that racism is something that exists mostly online. A totally diverse crowd of people, all enjoying every minute of the spectacle. Laughing and…

Just imagine what our country would be like without the likes of the ANC and their rotten rule. Well trained police. An uncompromised judiciary, hospitals full of doctors and meds. Businesses thriving. Integration with equality naturally occurs with growth, vote with sanity.

12 hours without power scheduled for today. In Zimbabwe, the people are now used to it. They wake up at midnight and do all the chores like washing clothes and charging laptops in the wee hours of the morning. Fuckery in buckets down here in Southern Africa.

The storms across the Freestate have been immense. Today we drove from Wepener to Ficksburg and returned home a few moments ago. I took this at the farm gate. Grandeur on an epic African scale.

These wonderful Oudtshoorn homes were built in the century before last. Spires and copper domes, sandstone, yellow wood, cast iron filigree, and stained glass. Ostrich feathers were a product in global demand back then. They're called 'Ostrich Palaces'

Blessings to our farmers today and every day. The food we eat, the shoes on our feet, the shirts on our backs. The bananas and the bacon, the bread and butter, herbs n spices all come from our farmers sweating in the sun. They're the heroes of our times.

Notice how ANC never posts anything positive about the ANC?They spend their time bashing others schools, minorities, the west, opposition parties among many others or defending their looting members and fending off court cases. They certainly do NOT have a good story to tell.

I am sick and tired of the ANC. How dare they guide us into obvious yet avoidable ruin. We have to hit back! Where is our power to change this? Do we riot, rally, tweet, protest, demand? We are out of peaceful options, the courts take decades, the law a joke. How does this end?

Senseless nonsense, farcical fuckery. This is one of the most powerful people in our country. Do you honestly still think there's hope for SA with this level of gobshyte at the top of the political pile?

I worked for a time close to those in power in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique. I see how SA is tumbling headlong into the abyss of a corrupt, failed state. The web of lies that are woven as the cadres steal and cover up is so complex that it becomes impossible to unravel.

Just learned today that our local town of Oudsthoorn has the purest air quality in all of RSA. The road from Oudsthoorn to Calitzdorp is part of the world-famous Route 62. One of the best road tripping routes on the planet. What a pleasure. This pic after the recent rains.

Happy Sunday SA. Proud to say, we are 3 hours away from shutting the doors on the last container. Filled to the brim with Organically grown, sustainably harvested, locally processed ingredients for the international market. Bound for Chile on a ship out of PE.
