☺️ So proud of my engineers! They were very successful w/ their designs to slow/stop erosion. Wire netting helps prevent rocky cliff sides from eroding into the road! Seawalls do slow erosion!🌊🏠 Grass & rocks help soil being eroded away from down spouts!

Scientists, through research & observations, collect evidence of wind 🌬 & water 💧erosion. Then, in teams, discuss/plan possible solutions.

🤓 Scientists compare solutions designed to slow/prevent water from changing the shape of the land. Some decided to use materials to “deflect” the 💧 like leaves of plants might deflect 🌧.

Besides oceans, lakes, rivers (liquid form)…Where else is water found on Earth? ❄️🧊 Glaciers! (solid) Geologists researched & used models to show how glaciers change the land slowly. As the glaciers melted, we had many noticings 👀&wonderings: Do glaciers create rivers? lakes?
