Excited to share my new blog post with @YaelRam15 for China Dialogues at @lseideas. We explore LLM politics and how China’s DeepSeek model challenges the myth of “technical neutrality” 👇 https://t.co/tSNSKD0RdW

The release of DeepSeek, a powerful open-source large language model (LLM) from China, was met with the now-familiar chorus of concern about political bias and censorship. While valid, this reaction...

The current war is an acid test to China’s international commitment. But for now, China’s more assertive rhetoric is yet to translate into a more proactive role. Read this china dialogues blog by @DoronElla and @RoniBerkowitz: https://t.co/3edkHPRVuA

Collaborating with the brilliant @DoronElla, you can now read our piece on China Dialogues. Indeed, China-Israel relations per se have little (if any) to do with China's role in the Israel-Gaza War. Yet, systemic interests have a habit of eventually affecting real people's lives.
In this new piece, written together with the amazingly talented @RoniBerkowitz, we argue that China's stance toward the Israel-Gaza War is based on two strategic interests: challenging U.S. hegemony, and gaining additional points with the Global South. https://t.co/k3iw2ndk1y
