A simpler time. @SJUHawks_MBB used to do home and homes with @BluejayMBB. There were some battles….including one at Hagan where McDermott drilled a jumper off an inbounds play for the game-winner, another where @RonaldRoberts5 posterized Antoine Young. The game was better then.
Last night Doug McDermott became the 3rd player in history with at least 6,000 NBA points & 3,000 NCAA points, joining Pete Maravich & Hersey Hawkins. It came on the 15 year anniversary of his first points with Creighton @BluejayMBB. @MVCsports @NBA @SacramentoKings @NCAAStats

SJU great Ronald Roberts Jr. has announced his retirement from professional basketball. Scored 1368 points and grabbed 861 rebounds at SJU. Pro career included stops with the 76ers and Raptors, and played overseas for five years. Lot of emphasis in writing about knee injuries.
