“In his last few public appearances, Carney has downplayed the idea, downplayed the importance of the oil and gas industry and downplayed concerns the industry has about government regulation.” And Smith claims that she can work with this guy, they have a lot of “common ground”.

Net Zero = Government control The Government wants to control: ⚠️Where you go (15 minute cities) ⚠️What you drive ⚠️How fast you can drive ⚠️What you eat ⚠️What energy you can use ⚠️What clothes you can wear

Is this @ABDanielleSmith Danielle Smith’s vision for Alberta as well? My free, independent Alberta will be free of this globalist scam.

When Danielle Smith says she has “found unprecedented common ground” with Carney, one can only conclude their shared commitment to net carbon zero.

Sad that our Premier believes, like Carney, that net carbon zero is “intelligent and thoughtful”. https://t.co/I1hgBe7N7b

Probably the most epic takedown of Net Zero ever aired on television, courtesy of Peter Hitchens. "If you want to live in a country where nobody can afford to heat their house... if you want lots of people to lose their jobs because there's no energy, if you want to be cold all

In March 2020, Jean declared “I believe, right now, that most Albertans believe that Canada is broken”, and identified “access to tidewater or trade with the rest of the world” as one of the “absolute necessities" from Ottawa, aligning with Smith’s 9 demands have not been met.

The APP question has definitely been “slowed down” by a court application. What is @ABDanielleSmith going to do about it?

This blog post examines the possibility that what an Alberta judge had described as “A nothing burger…a waste of time” can actually be a ‘something burger’. Also, the implications of clause 2(4) in CIAct with respect to Alberta’s independence movement. https://t.co/jElytgoaFd

None of the “Nine Nasty policies” withdrawn. As pointed out by James Albers (“Moments that define us”, Western Standard, Sept. 26, 2025), “Danielle Smith raised the spectre of crisis — now she must choose between Rubicon or retreat… must decide: lead, follow, or step aside”.

If, as declared by Smith, Lukaszuk’s policy proposal, like the APP constitutional proposal, leads to a “separation referendum”, then why is Lukaszuk’s proposal not likewise tied up in the court? https://t.co/KPU0lmCEH7

A POLICY proposal is intended to influence or change government policy. Lukaszuk’s petition simply reaffirms Smith’s current government policy, that is, a “Sovereign Alberta in a United Canada”. Expect the tabled report (3.) to say so.

According to the Act, “The proposal is not (to be) the same or substantially similar to a proposal that is currently underway”. If the Lukaszuk proposal can lead to constitutional referendum on separation, then the APP proposal should have been disallowed. https://t.co/KPU0lmCEH7

“Pursuing a legal process to amend the constitution contravenes the constitution is like saying an MP wanting to amend the criminal code…is violating the criminal code by bringing forward an amendment to the…code.” Could Smith and Amery be that stupid to put this in the Act?

It makes absolutely no sense that an initiative petition concerning a constitutional referendum proposal “must not contravene sections” of the constitution itself. Did none of the sitting MLAs raise objections to the inclusion of this ridiculous clause in the revised Act?

In his speech Denis Modry mentioned that Smith and Amery could remove the logjam holding up the APP question in the court by removing the clause in the Citizen Initiative Act that THEY put there, which they then curiously objected to see being used. More double talk from Smith.

In October 2022, Danielle Smith distanced herself from the WEF saying, “I have no interest in being involved with them.” And yet she reiterated her province's “need to get to carbon neutral by 2050” at a parliamentary committee meeting on October 23, 2025.
