45 years ago today, fans in Mobile were about to see, the man from up north, John Valiant's, true colors! My manager that night, he suddenly became, my worst nightmare & Mobile fans, became his! Showing what they were famous for, pandemonium, trying to eliminate John Valiant!

47 years ago today, Dec. 1, 1978 Knoxville 4 great tag matches & opener Ron Wright vs Kevin Sullivan, 16 wrestlers in Southeastern/Knoxville territory matched by 16 more, on Gulf Coast same day 500 miles south, in Alabama. Few territories, had the 32 full time wrestlers in it!

44 years ago, on this day, Monday Nov. 30, 1981 this three Southeastern title matches, two World championship matches and seven total match card began Southeastern's second year in Birmingham, after the best year, since the 1950's!

41 years ago today, Birmingham had this great card, with 4 title matches, a 10 round boxing match, either Mr. Olympia lost his mask or Arn Anderson had to leave Southeastern, and the Stud both wrestled and managed Lord Humungous and Jimmy Golden! WHEN WRESTLING WAS WRESTLING!

48 years ago today, Southeastern's 1st Thanksgiving Knoxville Coliseum show, a total sell-out! No one had more heat than the man in this photo, Don Carson, manager of the Mongolian Stomper. This program cover sold thousands that day, the beginning of a new era in wrestling!

47 years ago today, Knoxville's Thanksgiving card and again another sell-out. This was the northern Southeastern Thanksgiving show. 500 miles to the south was the Southern Southeastern/Gulf Coast Thanksgiving card and an entirely different crew with 16 more great wrestlers!

42 years ago today Nov. 21, 1983 Birmingham had 4 Southeastern title matches, a mask vs mask match with Arn Anderson as Super Olympia, World Ladies championship with Fabulous Moolah, who returned in Ken Lucas's corner, preventing Brenda Britton from keeping Rip Roger's belt!

53 years ago today, Nov. 20, 1972. Great card & blend of young & older stars! I was 24, Robert 23, Norvel Austin, Dick Slater, & Kevin Sullivan about same age & destined to be future stars in Southeastern. Sputnick, Paul Jones, Tim Woods, Matsuda, and Big Bad John as the elders!

55 years ago today, I had been wrestling for only six months! Five in Georgia and one in Florida and partnering with my father in the tag match below. One year earlier I was in the same building, playing basketball, for the University of Miami. GOD works in mysterious ways!

46 years ago today, 1979, I had sold my Southeastern/Knoxville territory & was obligated to be on this card. Jim Barnett, who bought me out called in lots of favors to get this great card set. The Coliseum was only half full, due to the disastrous Knoxville War

43 years ago Nov. 14, 1982 few weeks after Bob Armstrong had turned heel on Ron Fuller in Flair, world title match, the territory was on fire. Bob suddenly partners with David Schultz & Mongolian Stomper turned babyface to become Idol's trainer for next world title shot at Flair!

45 years ago today, Nov. 13, 1980 Southeastern ran it's first match ever, in Birmingham, with this spectacular card. It was our first move, back north. It would five years later, have Southeastern become Continental Wrestling and operating from the Gulf Coast almost to Ohio!
