Our Year 10 students got an essential water safety briefing from HM Coastguard, including tips on planning a safe beach trip, tide awareness & risks of entering water. Special shoutout to our former student Luke who is now a Coastguard volunteer and helped to deliver the session!

The 2nd of our Duke of Edinburgh Award teams have conquered their expedition!🥾They completed a two day hike along the Yorkshire Wolds Way, set up camp & cooked their evening meal. Everyone demonstrated resilience & successfully completed the demanding hike despite the heat! 💪

🎉 Making (radio) waves! We recently had a special visit from Radio Humberside Presenter @Kofi_Smiles! He toured our Year 13 showcase and interviewed staff & students to learn more about our creative pathway. Tune in to hear their stories at 7.20am, or 8.40am every day this week!

Our Year 12 biology students had a fantastic time on our annual field trip to the Cranedale Centre, getting out in nature to build their ecology knowledge and skills. 🌳They studied a wide variety of ecosystems & identified many species and animals! 🦀#GetTheEdge #Education
