I've been reflecting on my experiences in various workplaces, and realized as far as workplace ableism goes, the worst places were working with people with disabilities. (Schools, crisis, mental health.) The best saw them as lucrative (IT, advocacy) not surprising, but huh.

A grad student at UC Berkeley literally just developed a powder that removes carbon dioxide from the air. Folks are making strides everyday to undo this mess. There is hope
depressing to see that most climate scientists stress the need for immediate action and stress that “doomerism” isn’t helpful, yet people still decide to be doomers—while citing the same data that those scientists are using to encourage proactive solutions.

The internet is no longer forever. You need to become your own archivist for whatever you are passionate about, because at some point this decade there is going to be a major purge and I strongly suspect >80% of global digital content will simply disappear.
Internet Archive has not been archiving since 10/8. Google Cache has stopped caching. The Alexa service - the one that used to rank web traffic (not the Amazon virtual assistant) is gone. The ability of censors to memory-hole the internet is growing. https://t.co/o8OVWXqbH3

Just finished the Silent Hill 2 Remake. All I have to say is, SH3 remake when. Please. If Bloober can keep this level of quality and love for the original content material, by Valtiel, I need more.
