🚨Watershed moment anniversary!🚨 30 years ago tonight the 100 Club in London was host to the big players in the NWONW scene. This was the gig that cemented NWONW as a “thing” in the eyes of the general public. Simon Williams and Roger Sargent were there to document it for NME.

Why isn’t Music delivering the next Billy Halliday, Elvis, Sly, Zeppelin, Clash or D’angelo? In streaming’s vast ‘noise’, millions of acts, they must be there somewhere? So why does it kinda feel like we only get Fabian, Monkeys, Atomic Kitten or Bieber…fab as they are?
