Well said Rob and good on ESSA for demanding a public apology from the APA. It’s a shameful, inappropriate and damaging public statement from an Association that has no right to comment on another professional body - especially when the the information is so blatantly misleading.

I agree Sam! Something is not right here! It’s a puzzling and frankly unbelievable list. Reminds me of a paper I wrote a few years ago of the flaws in JIF as a means of assessing research quality.
When the Journal of Applied Physiology is in Q2 and minor journals are in Q1, we all know that these metrics are now useless @Clarivate
