At The Battle of Marathon, we learned the smaller Greek army defeated the Persians by using clever tactics: tricky terrain, strong hoplites on the outside and a surprise charge past the archers, causing chaos and breaking their formation.

In History, Year 4 practiced the ancient Greek army's phalanx formation. Although Lillie's army beat Phoebe's due to having a greater number of soldiers, we learned the bigger army doesn't always win. (1 of 2)
