The Cotswold garden year begins with the first flush of snowdrops when, in normal times & early spring, Painswick Rococo Garden, Colesbourne Park & Newark Park are must-visits. As the days begin to warm & daffodils make an appearance, Cotswold gardens start bursting into life.

Where’s your favourite ‘Sitting Place’? . On @BBCGlos tomorrow, hear about the ocean themed bench @RococoGarden, made for an ‘Exhibition of Sitting Places’ (now in 2021) . It was made by Martyn Thornton, who is preparing to row the Atlantic in December 🚣♀️ 🚣♀️
