Final and best words about what is perfect. Today. Today is the perfect time to write.

Perfection. Turn it on its head. Think of what's perfectly lovely in every moment instead of how to force every moment to be perfect. Upside down thinking. I like it!

Learning takes courage. Courage takes risk. Being willing to risk to learn something new - hmmm, there's something really beautiful in that.

How about just going about your life every day. Life is inspiration. Messy, dirty, goofy, crazy life. Not perfect, just real.

Start from HERE! Right now. Who you are right now. No need to wait until everything is perfect. Just where you are right now is the right time and place.

Play! That's where we learn to let go of all our perfectionisms and just enjoy life. Do something fun today. You're teaching your brain how to be free and that means your writing will will flow freer too.

We don't try to be perfect when we're having fun, right? That would be crazy, right?

What's worse? Not being perfect or not doing anything? I know what my answer is.

Adventures are seldom perfect. In fact, it is the imperfections that make something an adventure. Enjoy the ride, Writers!

Perfectionism: not a tool that works for writers. So, why do we get all worked up over trying to write it perfectly? Progress, not perfection.
