I worked in Qatar from 2004-05. I lived in a villa in the city of Doha. As I understood it (never looked it up, so don’t @ me if the details are off) to be a citizen of the State of Qatar you had to be at least 3rd generation. Citizens got a cut of the money from the country’s
I went to Qatar in February of 2020 on a photography work trip for a hotel that was launching there. It was the first time in my life I had seen slavery. Qatar was building new infrastructure for the World Cup and brought in thousands of slaves from other counties to do the

How utterly shocking!
Breaking: Tucker Carlson HIMSELF will now be attending the Qatari government conference this weekend in Doha. Other speakers include Qatari government officials, Iranian regime figures, and a whole castt of other unsavory characters. Because "America First," am I right?

And hey, by crazy coincidence, here’s “AJ+”, the Americanized outlet for Al Jazeera, which is based in and funded by the State of Qatar, telling us our constitution sucks and we need to change it! This was three years ago. Notice then they were pushing a bunch of left wing

@RocketPulpHack Doha was fucking surreal. Seemed to be trying so hard to be the UAE. Both Amman and Kuwait City, too. The slums of Amman were unspeakable. Kuwait City is a poor man's Doha.

@BradRTorgersen Qatar is very much a second-rate UAE, and Doha desperately wanted to be Dubai. They were behind then and they're behind now.

@RocketPulpHack Care to comment on the human trafficking and human rights abuses that take place in the US? I would love your insights as someone who has been to Qatar. Are they comparable in size and intensity?

@shewatchestrash Ma’am, you’re trying to what-about me in defense of a country that considers itself progressive because women are allowed to drive and hold jobs (with their husbands’ permission). I didn’t say America didn’t have problems, but yes, we are better than Qatar. It’s not even close.

@RocketPulpHack At one point there were “servant” auctions on Instagram which were essentially sex slave auctions based in Qatar and other parts of the middle east.

@ZwiJan The Arabs in Qatar treat your fellow Indians like disposable garbage. Your hatred of the Jews wouldn’t earn you any respect.

@RocketPulpHack Check the comments from white Americans. They make thousands out of dumb gulf Arabs, tax free and instead of showing gratitude they rail against their countries and culture while they gain fuck all from Israel but suck their balls at every opportunity. What a cucked race.

@RocketPulpHack Well said. Money covers up for absolutely terrible human rights abuses in those regions couched as systemic laws

@RocketPulpHack Citizenship in Qatar is like winning a birth lottery, a small club gets the oil checks while the expat majority keeps the lights and air conditioning on.

@RocketPulpHack It's the same in Saudi. The Bangladeshis and Pakistanis do the crap work with Filipino supervisors. Indians work in the office. Europeans and Americans do the business management. The Saudi comes in and surveys his domain.

@RocketPulpHack 100%. This was very similar to my experience in the UAE. I always say if you want to see modern day slavery - go take a look at the Gulf states. It's entrenched and rife with slavery, and a stratified society based on race.

@RocketPulpHack My plan is invade, give citizenship and voting to the foreign workers, let them bring in their families, and then just leave.
