Two heart procedures for Self in the last 2.5 years certainly makes you wonder how much longer he’ll want to remain in a very high-stress business. Certainly feels like the odds the 2025-26 season is his last - or one of his last - took a bump upwards today.

I know the noncon schedule is loaded and that probably played a factor in this, but Notre Dame and Syracuse being the first two games here seems disappointing. So many fun potential matchups that we could have had. Should be two snooze-worthy, semi-easy wins.
