The only reason Alabama’s body of work is argued as better is because it was set up that way from the start with inflated preseason rankings. Get rid of preseason polls.

Amazing how many SEC fans now want to ignore the conference championship game when they have literally screamed about past conference championship team losses to try a get their own team in. Bama with 3 losses should be behind Miami, behind ND and every other 2 loss P4 team.

anyone know the reason Lane and Lemon were sidelined that first series?

Have to face the reality that even at 💯 USC is not anywhere near the level Oregon is. And the worst part is that it seems so much less about talent and so much more about culture.

Lincoln - WHY???????? There’s no need to that there!

That’s the impact of having your starting safeties out.

And… brilliant that we had a 3 and out negated by an offside. It just never ends…

This is getting absurd now… Jacobi was wide open on that pick. Jayden has to stop just trying to force it. A score here and then Oregon getting ball to start 2nd and this gets ugly fast.

Jayden lucky that sean pass wasn’t picked - had Lane coming across middle too. But giving up a kick return like that by out kicking coverage and putting in the middle with coverage on one side? Add that to the growing list of self inflicted mistakes.

I’m a big believer in players just getting to the next play vs showboating. But also think officiating on “unsportsmanlike” has to change. It should be reserved for egregious stuff. College kids should be able to show a little emotion as long as it’s within reason.

Kickoff OOB, dropped pass nearly picked, easy 1st down missed with bad flick toss and now kick catch interference on a clear fair catch signal. This is how teams beat themselves. Especially against better teams.

Genuinely happy for my friend @kentura82 but man do I seem to have a gift for following teams that know how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. 🙄 Looking forward to years teams don’t beat themselves…

4 drives in 4th quarter - 3 turnovers and a turnover on downs. Good teams just don’t do that. Game was there to be won but like the last several seasons at critical moments SC went cute and clever while ND went ground and pound. Yes they held but you have to fight thru.

At some point SC has to stop beating themselves. Malaki just has to run that and get what he can. 2nd killer turnover in as many drives.

Just when you think SC has momentum… 🙄 Just can’t give up the return TD (just like last time) and then compound it with a turnover (like last time).

The one thing Indiana couldn’t do… 🤦♂️

Defensive holding on Oregon sack on 3rd down but an Indiana receiver absolute PI but no flag is why people complain so much about officiating. And then Oregon gets away with another d line abrupt shift? These are game changing calls instead it being settled on the field.

Taking absolutely nothing away from Ohio St here. The more I watch Illinois' O-line today, the more I'm convinced something was off with a lot of the defensive players for SC two weeks ago. Not saying anything insidious - more likely some kind of flu/stomach bug, etc.

Eagles benefited a lot from poor officiating (tush push) so to see them lose on intentional grounding called then picked up and no PI at the end seems about even. Nix pumped, turned and just chucked it away. Had he thrown 1st time then I agree no IG. Rule should be looked at.
