As I return to Parliament today following the conference recess, I reflect on the challenges ahead for our farmers and rural communities. There is much work that needs to be done here in Westminster to protect our agri-food industry and our family farms. @UFUHQ @FarmingLifeNI

The new Troubles Bill is Westminster legislation - there is an onus on the Westminster government to ensure the money needed to deliver this legislation and support victims are covered. This should not add to the financial strain already facing the NI Executive.

Our innocent victims of the Troubles have in the past been let down time and time again by the Irish Government. We cannot see this repeated under these new Legacy arrangements. It is now time for the Irish Government to publish their legislation and match their words to actions.
