A heartbreaking day today in Coq. I hope for the full and speedy recovery of the two officers who were seriously injured and my heart goes out to the family of the officer that was killed. Coq. is forever grateful for your service and your ultimate sacrifice for our community.

Another year, another Boxing Day Classic. For the first time in about 5 years, the 86’s beat the 87’s. Great to see everyone again and to catch up. It’s incredible how fast the time has gone. The first Classic started back when we were all in high school.

Coquitlam leaders are now speaking out following a CityNews exclusive that detailed racism, including one incident that led to an alleged assault within the Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association.
