I had a dude three days ago spamming me how happy TCU fans were and how they didnโt care at all about Briles/wanted him gone. I checked his page this morning and he was still going and his last 16 posts have been about South Carolina, not including dozens of replies.

Shades of 2009. Gamecocks lost 21-7 to UConn in the Birmingham Bowl, then Spurrier fired 4 coaches and revamped his staff. Hereโs to hoping Shane has a similar turnaround in 2010, where the Gamecocks played for an SEC Championship in Atlanta.
This is essentially a clean slate offensively for South Carolina with these 3 new hires. Similar to a coaching staff change. Nothing certain in this sport, but leads me to believe the runway is long for Shane Beamer and seat maybe not as hot as assumed for 2026.
