I don’t know where I would be without the support of my amazing family and close friends throughout all of this madness. Thankful for everything I have and every day that I’m still breathing. Yesterday was the most I’ve felt like myself in a long time.

I am happy to say that I can now drive, use my phone and computer (at a low brightness) and most importantly, create music again.

I could sit in a pitch-black room with my eyes shut wearing a blindfold and still feel like I was staring directly at the sun. I slowly began to recover from there, and have found ways to better cope with and manage my symptoms.

Debilitating photophobia, visual snow, and vision loss in addition to numerous other complications with my body and vital organs. I spent the first week of this ordeal nearly blind in agony, unsure if I would ever see normally again.

An onslaught of visual, physical, and neurological symptoms hit me out of nowhere on the night of September 24th. This has literally and figuratively changed the way I see the world and life itself.

For the last two months, I’ve been fighting to recover from some very serious health issues stemming from a mystery diagnosis that I and the dozens of doctors and specialists I’ve consulted have yet to unravel.

Seeing through the release of that material was difficult, but took THRILLCHASER to new heights and opened up doors for the project to have yet another chance at life. I’m proud to say that now there is another album nearing completion with an absolute supergroup of a new lineup.

A year ago today I found myself at an absolute standstill musically. Sitting halfway through the delayed release of an album I had given everything to create and then some, only to be abruptly left on my own with no clear direction of where to go next.

From career struggles to new opportunities and landing my dream job with the best audio software company in the business. The good, the bad, and the challenging.
