!!
I’m Riz and I’m a British Pakistani animator!
I’ve previously worked on Mr Bean: The Animated Series, and I’m currently working on the show Daisy & Ollie ✌️
(Mini Thread)
I wanna talk a bit about Dead End: Paranormal Park Season 2 Episode 7, which me and another animator on the show have nicknamed
"The Asian Episode."
*Some spoilers ahead*

Best project I ever worked on.
Thank you everyone for watching it, and to everyone who hasn’t, please still do! It’s amazing.
I couldn’t feel more lucky to have worked on this show, and I will love it to the end of time.
Thank you Hamish 💖

Oh! That's interesting. When was the last time we've seen Japanese animated hand drawn Sonic stuff? It feels like all the recent stuff was produced in the west unless I'm forgetting something!
I love the fact that in this episode two Asian characters who don't necessarily know each other too well, just get to sit and bond about the experience of growing up in an Asian family, and how talking about subjects such as being queer can be especially difficult

JESUS... there's so many emotions to feel about that...
Like, how bullying can cause something like that to happen, and turn someone into a murderer, but also just how shocking of a thing to do that is, like that's something out of a movie..
It feels as though in the South Asian community anyway, talking about this sort of stuff feels very taboo, or at least isn't discussed enough, and to have these two bond over that felt so authentic to me and brought them so much closer to each other in just that one conversation
The idea that this episode might help encourage more discussion between queer Asian people and their families, and progress things forward makes me really happy.
I'm so glad I got to be a part of the show, and also work on this episode 💕
Damn who knew the secret was I just had to draw Velma..
Thank you for all the likes and follows everyone ☺️
Sorry to disappoint though, all I basically draw is Nico Robin from One Piece lol

Anime fans for some reason just cannot deal with changes in visuals. If something looks unique or different to the norm then they see it as bad.
What they don't know is Masaki Yuasa is one of the best animation directors around 💁♀️
