On Thursday 4th December, Sixth Form hosted a vibrant Culture Day. We enjoyed amazing performances from our talented students. Everyone looked incredible in their colourful cultural outfits and even took part in a fun “fashion runway”.

Year 12 student Doina Catana spent 4 days in Türkiye at #MUNGLOBAL2025, representing Denmark in the ECOFIN committee. She shared: “I spoke on everything from environmental reform to crypto regulation—raising motions, delivering speeches and helping shape policy.“

Our Y12 & Y13 English classes took part in an Academic Writing Workshop with the Royal Literary Fund and author Leigh Russell today. Students were brilliant—articulate, ambitious & collaborative. Leigh praised their attitude and said the school felt cheerful and welcoming

Poppy Appeal – Welcome Back! 🌺 Our Sixth Form students will be visiting AM rooms this week to sell poppies and other merchandise in support of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.

We were delighted to take 40 students on our annual residential to Calshot Activities Centre in Southampton. The trip combined focused Maths & English revision with exciting activities like climbing and skiing — a fantastic mix of learning, teamwork & adventure! 🏕️📚🎿

Rivers students helped BREAK a world record with @jamieoliver’s global pasta event! 🌍🍝 10,515 people in 42 countries cooked pasta at the same time! We even had a visit from the Mayor & celebrated making the World’s Best School shortlist! 🙌🇺🇳 #PastaPower

Sixth form students toured the Virgin Atlantic Hangar at Heathrow ✈️ After a fun icebreaker, they explored the office & got up close with an A350-1000 in action — from engine wiring to interior overhauls. Even snapped a pic inside the engine.

A group of 20 EAL students from Years 7–10 had a fantastic time on their recent trip, building confidence, practicing English, and making great memories along the way

Year 9 pupils joined Jamie Oliver & top chefs online to try breaking the world record for most kids making pasta in an hour! 🍝🔥 Despite the heat, they smashed it with amazing effort!
