It’s that time of year again! Our 3rd Annual Esports Summit is right around the corner. The event is for educators of all experience levels interested in starting or currently running a scholastic esports program at their school/district. #region1esports #esportsEDU.

I had the chance to check out a middle school esports tournament in our region. I love seeing the excitement the students had. It was also great seeing parents and other faculty come out and support. Thanks for the invite @PSJA_LBJ_MS @PSJATech!

These students were part of my 7th grade class and robotics team. Our season got cut off in 2020 when COVID hit. Today, I got to watch them graduate! I’m so proud of their accomplishments and wish them the best of luck in their future! #proudTeacherMoment

Yesterday we hosted our first ever elementary esports tournament featuring Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart. The energy the students brought was unmatched! We have seen tremendous growth in esports in our region and I look forward to seeing more next year! #region1esports
