3/ Since April, we have been hyper focused on reducing proving times. In less than 2 months we have reduced Ethereum proving block times from 44s to 20s. With this new cluster, we are projecting to reach real-time proving.

2/ If real-time ZK needs million-dollar rigs, the proving pipeline centralizes. At ~$120K, the EF, staking pools, and smaller teams can all run real-time provers. This ensures real-time proving gets the same liveness guarantees we expect from Ethereum.

3/ Since R0VM 1.0, we’ve cut proving time for Ethereum blocks from 35m to just 44 seconds (including execution) and we’re not done. We’re on track to reach real-time proving (<12s) by July.
