We had some great things happening at Riley this week. First we had our great scholars of the week! Then yesterday we had an amazing Walkathon event! So proud of all our scholars and raising over $3,000 for this event! Also a huge thank you to Officer Quinn from @NorthlakePolice!

Today was an amazing day as the scholars who got 100 Mypath lessons passed were able to come up and SLIME MR. SOWA! We had 37 scholars who were able to dump slime on him. Thank you Mr. Sowa for being such a good sport. It was an great time! #empower87

We have had one other scholar hit 2,000 steps! She enjoyed the announcements, calling buses, and of course eating in the teacher lounge. Wonderful job at reading! #empower87and

This impressive scholar read 2,000 reading steps and for her prize wanted to be principal for the day. She started off with the morning announcements, ate in the teacher lounge, had her class do math outside and ended the day calling the busses for dismissal. #empower87
