At the Cormorant in Newburyport, I tried their Bourbon Cream Soda ($10), a simple cream soda, bourbon and bitters. And I was impressed! Refreshing, tasty, and not overly sweet. A great summer drink, and now I'll have to make it at home.

Sorry North End, but there's no evidence that you created Scali Bread. Instead, Fitchburg has that claim to fame, back to the Sunlight Bakery in 1941. In fact, throughout the 1940s, the only references to Scali Bread were from that Fitchburg bakery.

A review of the 2015 Valdespino La Especial Manzanilla En Rama: A Wine of Joy. This is a rarity, a Vintage Sherry (Jerez de Añada), and it was an impressive wine. More people need to experience the wonders of Sherry. #wine #sherry

Posto, an Italian restaurant, recently relocated to Assembly Row in Somerville. It has long been one of my Favs, and the cuisine at the new location is just as delicious as ever. Their Roasted Garlic pizza could protect you from an army of vampires!

This weekend, for my Birthday, I'll be opening this unique Palo Cortado Sherry, which is an average age of 130-150 years old. It helps you feel young when you can open a wine that is older than you. Or even two to three times older than you. #wine
