Congrats to ‘22 RHP Ashton Izzi on his commitment to Wichita State. Ashton came to Rhino Baseball last year around 83mph and is now up to 91mph with much more to come. Couldn’t be more excited for Ashton and too see how close he can get to his absurd ceiling. Congrats!

What it is all about!. Michael Hughes has been in the program for 11 years & his dad Mike coached Michael’s final Rhino game, a ‘ship win. “After 11 years on the field together, it’s now over. It was a hellva ride!”. Now Mike gets to sit back & watch Michael play ball at UWO!

Congrats to ‘24 RHP Ryan Anderson on his commitment to the University of Arizona. Ryan is a 6’6” arm that can get into the upper 80’s & has a very good understanding of the zone w/ all three pitches. It’s an old adage, but the sky is truly the limit for this kid. Congrats Ry!

Congrats to ‘23 INF/RHP Eli Kieser on his commitment to Ball State University!. Eli has grown tremendously as a player over the last few years by good ol fashion hard work. Eli hit .425 this summer, a sub 7.0 runner & is 92 across the diamond. Sky is the limit for this kid.

Congrats to ‘21 RHP Gavin Schmitt, @pehsbaseball, on committing to the University of Illinois. Gav is a 6’3” 185lb high upside arm that is currently up to 91mph in game. Over the past two summers, Gav has been absolute lights out. Congrats Gav! Sky is the limit for this kid.

Excited to add Ryan Sweeney to the instructional staff at Rhino. The 2nd round draft pick played for 5 MLB teams & finished 9 year career w/ a .273 BA, 124 2B, 14 3B & 23 HR. Ryan will help Rhino teams during hitting & outfield sessions & also will host some camps & clinics.
