We also broke down DeFi research into 3 parts:. Fundamental Analysis: What problem is this project solving? Is the team legit? What’s their roadmap?. Technical Analysis: What’s the price chart saying? Any strong support or resistance levels?.

Then came TVL (Total Value Locked) how much $$ is locked in a protocol. It’s a trust signal. 🔍 Key insight:.• If Market Cap / TVL < 1 → might be undervalued.• If > 1 → possibly overvalued or risky.

FDV (Fully Diluted Valuation) = total supply × current price.It shows what a token could be worth if all tokens are released. Helps you look past hype. We used XRP as a case study and calculated the ratio of its Market Cap to its FDV one of the best ways to decide if a token is.
