Remember quality over quantity. Shorter sessions of productive revision should be chosen over long sessions of poor-quality revision.

Read exam timetables carefully! Check the day, time, location and seat. Getting one of these wrong could cause lots of unnecessary stress.

If your exam desk is wobbly ask the invigilator to sort it out. They will be used to this request and it will stop you getting distracted.

Try to think positively about revision and exams. No they're not the best thing but focusing on the negatives will only make them worse.

Teachers, family and friends may have good ideas about what revision is best, but ultimately it's your choice and they should respect that.

Have a thing you do before you sit down to revise, like clearing your desk or getting a cup of tea. It will tell your body it's time to work

When revising indoors keep your environment cool. Set up fans & open windows. A hot room will make you tired decreasing your productivity.

If an exam has gone badly this isn't the time to dwell on it. Focus on your other exams. At this stage they are more important.

Don't use sugar as an energy source for your revision. The "sugar rush" will last for about 30 mins and then your energy levels will drop.

Don't fight your body during revision. If your hungry eat, thirsty drink, tired go to bed earlier, can't concentrate have a break.
