Last Friday, we had the honor of hosting our first “Farm to Table” event, and it was absolutely magical! We gathered with a mix of cherished old friends and inspiring new ones to celebrate the incredible achievements of our Urban Agriculture & Culinary youth internship programs!

Praise break! 🥳 We found out the students at Thelma Parks Elementary have gone from the 2nd lowest in the Read OKC Challenge (34th) to 14th. 📚 We’re SO proud of the huge strides & hard work done by all the students & staff at our partner elementary schools.

The @EastsideEatery won a major award in November! Alongside @mynameisJabee & @ESPizzaHouse, the Eatery was a recipient of the Black Kitchen Initiative! Their innovation has allowed them to create a Youth-Led Kitchen that is empowering the next generation of culinary creatives!👏

COATS NEEDED! The cooler months have arrived, and our friends at the @marketeastpoint are taking donations for gently used or new coats! They are looking for both adult & kids sized coats to help keep our friends & neighbors in the community warm this winter.

Our fall Restore Farms internship is in full swing, and the interns are busy pulling, planning, and planting for the seasons ahead! Last week, they started education days with the OSU Extension Office, working on a 12-week, Urban Ag Certificate program!
