The shelter-in-place issued around Cliffside Falls is over. Eggpire activity has ceased, and have workers in the area repairing the damages caused. Otherwise, the area is secure. We will be investigating this new Eggpire scheme with hopes to recover the captured citizens.

This is a public service announcement to all within the vicinity of Cliffside Falls. There has been an Eggpire attack upon the village with the goal of abducting citizens. Restoration forces are currently on site repelling them. Take shelter until we confirm the coast is clear.

Do you really not trust my sense of danger enough to think I'd just throw myself into that? I'm used to fighting from the sidelines. Lay low, keep your head down, and do what you can without taking too much attention. Azraq could've lived if I was there to treat their injuries.

They immediately threatened my co-workers and followed further Eggpire orders despite a clear chance to desert- orders which, if successful, would've had multiversal consequences. They had no intention to "redeem" themselves until you ordered them to try and paint that picture.
Your heroes, everyone. Between a murderer and a victim of experiments, they'll take the murder. You want redemption? Best pray you find them in a good mood lest you lose your eyes.

Looking back, it seems both the twins and Sonic touched the Master Emerald at the same time. Whatever they tried to do, it must've "short circuited" the Emerald and caused it to erupt. Apologies, Knuckles, but we've got to make use of what we have until we can return them all.
Well. We’re back on base . The master emerald shards aren’t nearly enough to get knuckles to put them back together. The empire must have taken about half of them. We may end up redistributing these to personnel for now, make use of them for upgrades until we have them all..
