We are wrapping our first magnet to attempt 60 Tesla! Hoping for success, yet planning for three attempts (different coils) in next 2 months to increase likelihood we will reach 60 Tesla. These magnets are small. These magnets are powerful. @ResonTech @ETH

Quench at 46.5 Tesla. It took us 5 days to make this magnet, and 4 days to charge to full field. We expect many more such experiments next year— move fast, learn fast. Targeting high (enough) resolution NMR >60 Tesla next year.

Greetings from the handheld 47 Tesla magnet scientists! We are going for NMR signal in our latest magnet— don’t have the RF Amps and Pre-Amps for 2 GHz 1H NMR (crazy high frequency for NMR!!!), so aiming to track 13C NMR up to quench of the magnet.
