Research by @NZJCDR’s Dr Lauren Vinnell & colleagues suggests being impacted by one hazard can influence people’s risk perception of another. “Exposure to a large earthquake may influence their response to a tsunami, which has implications for ‘long, strong, get gone’ messaging.”
